End of 2025 Season Newsletter

Hard to believe we are in the last week of Devon Summer 2025 – I am so proud Devon was able to be open 12-8 for a couple weeks and now 4-8 the past two.  So thankful to all the college guards who have headed out on their next adventure.  Kenzy will be a senior,  Nick and Becca juniors and Mary Claire a Sophomore!  The rest of them are heading off to freshman year – Max, Abel, Ashton, Hailey and Makenzie – new adventures await them and I know they will be amazing! Please be kind to our high school guards who are juggling sports, school work and life while keeping Devon running!  Thank you to everyone who showed your appreciation to them during guard appreciation week – I saw some of the thoughtful items dropped in their boxes!  So nice.

Euchre night was a blast – we had 32 players who all seemed to have a great time!  Congrats to Jo Ann Schisla for the win and big thanks to Jennifer Winters for being a huge help to me!

Bourbon/BBQ and Movie night was a lot of fun! Had a nice turn out, the food from Half Liter once again was amazing – thank you Melissa and Ryan Uhte for your help on the food and to Michele McCarthy and Ann Chasteen for all their help they gave me through the night.  We had our biggest bourbon selection ever and the sky that night was amazing!

Plumbing update – Well I thought and hoped we could make it to the end of the season before we had to make the major repair – unfortunately we did not make it.  We were just without bathrooms for two short days when the numbers at the pool were low, so truly the best case scenario.  Big Thanks to Vasey who have been great partners to Devon.

Tennis Update – No one has come forward with any information regarding the nails on the tennis courts and grass.  We are going to be changing the accessibility to the tennis courts where parents will have to chaperone their children.  The tennis courts were re-done just a few short years ago, and we cannot afford incidents happening when kids are not acting appropriately and parents don’t know.

Devon Summer 2026 – well it is time to talk about summer 2026.  If you signed up for the payment plan in 2025 the current monthly payments will just continue for 2026.  If you paid in full for 2025 and want to sign up for the payment plan or just renew by paying in full, please visit the membership renewal page.  Members that pay in full or sign up for the payment plan by Dec of 2025 will receive free guest passes based on the membership level: 10 for family,  5 couple and 2 for single.  If you are on the payment plan, but do not want to continue your membership please let us know about your intent to cancel

Guest Passes – They do not carry over from season to season.  So be prepared to bring some guests this weekend to enjoy what looks to be beautiful weather.  Guest passes can be used any day the rest of the season.
